La Martiniere College..... Foundation Laid -Somewhere at the end of the 18th century Established As A College __ 1845 Dominated The Field Of Education __ 1845 - till date
There is probably no other building in Lucknow that exerts such a fascination over the viewer than the Constantia building which is the the central portion of the main building at the La Martiniere Boys College. Built by the 18th century French adventurer Claude Martin, it has withstood the ravages of time and its walls have witnessed death, destruction, earthquakes, floods, love, hope and tears. Through its hallowed portals have passed generations of students and staff who have all contributed to the legend that is ‘the Martiniere.’
Because of immense legal wrangles in the Calcutta High Court, Claude Martin’s will was not finally proved until 1840. Before that the Constantia building was used as a guest house for visiting Europeans. Constantia, was designed and built by Martin himself as his country residence. This building, constructed in an extraordinary mixture of styles, is striking and impressive. The site chosen is a lovely park which may excite the envy of any educational institution in the world. It stands on an artificial terrace over-looking what was once a lake, in the center of which stands a 125 feet tall tower - The Lat build in Moorish Architecture.

FRIEND......
......A Friend cannot be considered a Friend until he is tested in three occasions:
.....in time of need, ....behind your back, ...and ...after your death.
I am privileged to have quite a number of friends . Friendz are important because they are the ones with whom you can share your feelings.
For me frienship is holy and ending it is like killing the reason to live

Software engineering is the application of a systematic, disciplined, quantifiable approach to the development, operation, and maintenance of software. It encompasses techniques and procedures, often regulated by a software development process with the purpose of improving the reliability and maintainability of software systems. The effort is necessitated by the potential complexity of those systems, which may contain millions of lines of codes.

POST TIME !!!!!!!!
BASED ON INDIA , COMPUTER TRICKS AND LA MARTINIERE COLLEGE
As you all know that i am a total comp freak....... keep discovering things .....on this little machine.
Recently i discovered a way of locking a folder without using a folder locking software. This method is very reliable and it hides all the contents of the folder.
I used a simple batch file to rename the folder to My Computer.
Here is what i did --- - - - --
Suppose you want to lock the folder movies in d: which has the path D:\movies.
1 - In the same drive create a text file and type
ren movies movies.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}
2 - Now save this text file as loc.bat 3 - Create another text file and type in it ren movies.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} movies
4 - Now save this text file as key.bat 5 - Now you can see 2 batch files loc and key. Press loc and the folder movies will change to control panel and you cannot view its contents. Press key and you will get back your original folder. 6 - You can even convert the bat file into an exe file so that its contents (i. e. the code) is not accessible. ......And you can also hide the loc and key bat files so that only you that they exist
I was spending my summer vacations in Lucknow for its first half. The scorching heat of the sun was unbearable. Lucknow was hotter than any other town in Northern India. My parents had no time to enjoy their holidays in some other cool town, therefore I decide with my friends to travel to Mumbai to escape the northern heat which was accompanied by loo. We had great expectations from Mumbai but I never thought that that town would eventually spoil my vacations.
We left for Mumbai in the beginning of June. A few experienced heads told us that we should hurry back because monsoons were assumed t arrive quite early. The twenty hour journey through the Deccan made us weary and exhausted. The first day in Mumbai was spent in booking a hotel room and enjoying the comfortable bed of the hotel room after that long journey which had drained our energy.
The next day made us witness an astonishing sight. We saw the orange sum rising from the watery horizon from our room which was close to the beach. It appeared as if an orange ball of fire was rising out of the water, a sight which isnot experienced by every person on Earth. After the arrangements of my friend a motor boat took us to an island quite far from the mainland. We thought that a peaceful time in the Arabian Sea would make us forget the burning sensation which we felt in Lucknow. Frankly speaking, I feared that the sudden drastic change in the surroundings would show some drastic effects on my skin. The smell of the pleasant air made us light. The climate over there was different. It looked as if we were abandoned on a lonely island to enjoy the natural beauty. The island was quite massive with hard rock cliffs and highlands but there was no other soul besides five of ours. The sand of the beach was like powder. It was so fine that it was difficult for us to walk on it. We spent the whole afternoon over there in a small hut. I suggested that it was better to leave before the sun sinks again in its watery home.
We were packing our luggage in the hut when Ajay cried from outside,”Hey guys!! Come out, it seems as if its going to rain”. The words struck my ear like a gunshot. I rushed out and stared at the sky imitating David’s action. It was dark, it was pitchg black. The sky had disappeared. There were black cloudy demons looking down at us. Within no time it began to rain heavily. I shouted, “Climb on top of the island’s mountain.”
My words created a hustle-bustle among my friends. Some were grabbing their luggage, some trying to caryy all their priced possessions. Entangling the stuff in the crook of the arm and on their heads. It was raing cats and dogs. The water was rushing up the shore. We were wet, but it did not matter, our lives costed more. Observing the top most safest point of the island , we headed up the hill thinking that the flash flood would not be able to conquer the top. The rain was not thunderous , there fore there was no question of being struck by lighting on our already hot heads which was quite confused about what to do. We were aware that the beach authorities know that we were stuck on this unlucky island. The motor boat had left just after it dropped us here.
When we reached the top, a chill ran down my spine....Black sky, angry sea , violent wind and speeding rain drops frightened the five hearts which ere up there. David cried in sarcasm,”We are dead!”, Isam murmured beneath his breath, “What next?” . I wished i could answer that question. Another voice regretted,”Why did we come to Mumbai, our Lucknow was better”.
We were cursing ourselves, pointing fingers when..........a small dot appeared the sky in the direction of the mainland. A ray of light emerged from the dark sky. Our eyes were fixed on it. The dot grew bigger and bigger and transformed into a helicopter. The ten eyes on that island had seen a ray of hope. Talking about hope, I decide d that I would never hope anything from a place because I had witnessed the results of my expectations from this place.
Quite soon we were in the helicopter which was swaying like a pendulum due to the angry fighting wind which refused to step back in the battle. Quite soon, we were in the hotel room, and quite sooner, we were in the Mumbai Airport......waiting for our flight because we, especially I was eager to see my parents in my hometown. While in the waiting room I heard the news channels expressing their sorrow for the people of Mumbai. That day the city suffered a severe battering from the skies causing a devastating deluge. It all happened so suddenly that before the people realized the danger, it was too late to go home. No food, no water, people wandering around the streets of Mumbai helplessly. The flood was the cause of the death of many.
